I've never used a clicker before what I can tell you is don't just feed it through the string and pull past the click to your draw weight ( as mentioned in another review) this will bend the area that makes it click instead pull until you hear the clicker and stop make adjustments repeat until you reach your full draw with good alignment. Than tie or burn a knot. The clicker has no plastic parts and well made.

I had this installed at a sporting goods store by a boyer and used it for about a week before I let my friend draw my bow back and he immediately drew to far and broke the product so just be careful. It is what it is a cheap piece of metal and plastic but you should know that before buying.

…clicks at desired draw length by placing cord in middle of string, with a twist to keep in place until strung. String bow and pull cord so it has a bit of slack between string and clicker. Do not tie in yet. Pull back to your draw length, this will happen after it clicks and cord will pull through but not slip. Release and tie loosely in, recheck until happy then perma tie in. Works great with an audible click at set draw. Great training tool, all shots now should at least be on the same plane up and down. Now to just get the yaw straight, lol.

Had to take it off the bow after 3 or 4 Arrows. Makes a loud "clang" noise(not the click) after release with lots of vibration. Very distracting to shot sequence. Needs some work.
