A great value proposition compared to brand L from Cubimythx. The packaging is superbly delivered in multiple bags that logically correlate to the steps as indicated in the well documented brochure that it comes with. It even includes a breaker and decals to finish off the detailing. Smoke pots can be moved and hatches can be opened. The plastic used is 95% what one could expect from brand L and the pieces fit together almost as accurately, but maybe not just quite 100% of the expected standard we are all accustomed to. To its credit, they're perfectly interchangeable so for those who need a brick to two to embellish the kit, have at it. Note that the pieces do not have any branding embossed and the backside looks nothing like the usual configuration, but the fits are on point. Not a kit meant for kids younger than teenagers since a fair amount of strength will be needed for brick corrections even using the supplied breaking tool. No minifigs naturally but including a lego-like Michael Wittmann would have been the chef's kiss.If there are any niggles with this is that the scale at 1:28 do not correspond to legacy plastic model kits in 1:25 or 1:35 and if anything, the finished product looks to be roughly 1:27-ish in comparison to the Tamiya kits. Additionally, there are a few misses where the tolerances are not as accurately manufactured as can be seen in both the exhaust shielding behind the Tiger and also in the fit of the front glacis plate. The gun itself needed some help from plastic cement as it wouldn't stay in place due to the weight of the muzzle brake and is a but short of being accurate at scale. Overall, it's a great value and while it may be only 97% as well constructed as a brand L set, it comes in at about 1/3 of the price so that's something to be considered, plus the fact that we will most likely never see a military-inspired product like this coming from our friends in Denmark.

First time buying a product that isn't the name brand.Very pleased to say that there is no drop off in quality, the product feels exactly like the name brand and is surprisingly heavy when finally put together.A great product and much better value than the name brand.

This tank is both surprisingly large and surprisingly heavy. It's based on the TOG II, which never actually saw any use due to it's sheer size and weight, and the weight of the kit clearly illustrates that. All of the bricks fit nicely and hold well, and the instructions are clear enough to get through without spending hours trying to decipher. The tank treads can be a bit finnicky to get assembled, but they hold nicely and roll freely. Overall, any fan of military gear, or anyone who enjoys building brick kits would be happy to get one, and if they enjoy displaying their builds, this will certainly catch your eye.

This review is for CubiMythx 1/30 Scale British TOG II Tank Building Blocks and Construction Toy, $59 on amazon.Disclaimer. I have not yet built this kit so my observations are pre-assembly. I cannot speak to how hard/easy the build is or whether you might have problems during the build, e.g. missing pieces or how tightly the pieces fit together (clutch power).These pieces (1427) are standard size ‘Lego’ meaning that a two-stud brick measures 16 mm in width.Pieces come in four large sealed bags.Large bag numbered #1 has five smaller sealed bags numbered 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, and 1-5 along with two 1X15 beams and two 1X16 Technic Bricks.Large bag numbered #2 has seven smaller sealed bags numbered 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5, 2-6 and 2-7 along with three 8X8 plates.Large bag numbered #3 has ten smaller sealed bags numbered 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4, 3-5, 3-6, 3-7, 3-8, 3-9, and 3-10.Large bag numbered #5 has five smaller sealed bags numbered 5-1, 5-2, 5-3, 5-4, and 5-5.The instruction manual measures 5-1/2” X 8”, has 195 pages and xx assembly steps.Pieces from bags #1 are used for assembly steps A1 through A63, pages #1 thru #29.Pieces from bags #2 are used for assembly steps B1 through B118, pages #31 thru #78.Pieces from bags #3 are used for assembly steps C1 through C203, pages #80 thru #156.Pieces from bags #4 are used for assembly steps D1 through D78, pages #158 thru #184.There is a 5-1/2” X 7-1/2” sheet of decals/stickers.
