Never understand why the cycling component makers seem hell bent of making so many unique variations of the same system. If you need an adapter to fit post-mount brakes to a flat mount fork, this piece of hardware does the job. Easy to install and effective.

I needed this to mount a post mount brake caliper to a flat mount fork. It Worked!

I’ll need to check with the fork manufacturer but it appears it’s taken my fork to needing a 180mm rotor and not the 160mm that I was lead to believe was the change when added.

My gravel bike has cargo cages mounted to the front fork, which caused the front flat-mount calipers to be obscured by the cargo cages. This makes maintenance and repair in the field a hassle, so I had a wild idea to buy a post mount rotor and this adapter, which would situate the caliper further from the fork and allow me to make adjustments without hassle. It worked! This adapter is simple enough- remove the flat mount bracket and install this post mount bracket in its place, then install the post mount caliper.

Had a 2014 Fuji Altamira CX that got a crack, They replaced my frame with a fuji Cross 1.1. Previous fork was post mount so I bought this adapter and it worked perfectly for mounting my avid calipers to my new flat mount fork.
