I was replacing a broken bottom bracket with plastic threads and thought I could save a few bucks by trying some off-brand options. Big mistake. I ordered three different bottom brackets from Amazon with the same specs, but none of them would screw onto my frame. The threading was off every time. The only one that worked was Shimano. It fit perfectly without any resistance. If you want something reliable and precise, don’t waste your time with cheap alternatives. Stick with Shimano.

Brilliant! I had the old style loose bearing BBThe drive side was LONGER on the spindle to make room for the cranksetBut this replacement fit perfectly and spaced out the crankset without rubbing the frame : )

Love the feel. It does feel smoother after you install so don't freak out if it feels difficult to move when you first open it. Also double check that you have it on the right side and that you are turning it the right way.

息子のMTBの部品交換です。もとはカップアンドコーンのBBでしたが、シールドタイプに交換しました。問題なく交換でき、スムーズに踏めてます。
