Item was displayed as made in Japan, but got a product made in China. Same product is available with a less price from bucklos.Both side are not identical, one is smooth and other is not and edgy.Package looks same as original but was opened and damaged.

Packaging was absolutely shocking! Not even in the Shimano box just a plastic bag with the washers and rotor bolts loose ! I hope this rotor is still straight!

You should know that the adapter must read “180mm” and that it fastens to the forks with larger machine screws than attach the caliper to the adapter. Also the orientation of the adapter is critical. The 180 mm disc attachment to the bicycle hub is straightforward, with 6 machine screws. Note: the brake caliper on the rigid forks of the Trek Dual Sport +2 is unique in that it attaches directly to the forks without an adapter, and if that caliper fails, no other caliper in existence will fit. It’s “one of a kind”.
