Bought to replace a 10 year old Sora derailleur, definitely improved design over the past decade. Set up was quick and trouble free. Does its job quietly, quickly, and precisely!

Product was delivered on a timely manner as promised. The Sora rear derailleur coupled with the Sora shifters worked great. Budget conscious buyers will appreciate the crisp shifting, without the high price of more expensive group sets.

Price on Amazon is a bit higher than list price but I wanted the 2 day shipping. Got the SS version (small cage, suitable for gears 29T and under) from 365 cycles and the item arrived in mint condition. I wanted to replace an old Huret derailleur on my Raleigh Grand Prix (10 speed steel road bike from the 1970s made in England). Also got some new shimano compatible indexed downtube shifters from sun race plus a KMC chain and installed them all together. Had to watch some youtube videos on how to use a chain tool and whatnot but it wasn't hard. Maybe I just have low expectations but this bike shifts very smoothly + quietly now and I cannot be happier.
