I completely remodeled our shower and picked this item because it works better for TALL people and it shoots almost straight down with the shower head located at a higher level. I am a retired plumber and remember the day when the brass in one of these was about 4 times thicker - but that was then and this is now! Such is life!It still works fine and I will be remodeling our other shower shortly and will use the same thing. Naturally it is a breeze to install - just remember to use plumbers tape on the end that goes into the wall!

This worked out so slick, heavy walled, nice appearance. I used a combination of products and love the finished product.Rough-in measurements shower 5.875" down recessed 1.75", 13.625" centered, the $4 Hillman 3/8"×4" anchor hook hole drilled at 21.25" centered to 13.625", $199 Delta Porter series Main faucet, $15 JS 7" straight extension, $58 Bright Showers Combo wand and 8" showerhead, discarded the 8" and went with the near moon 16" 324 nozzle. I have 72 psi water pressure, so using the 2.5gpm on the flow restrictions and kept washers between joints to pipe joint paste and teflon,I kept the Bright Showers diverted plumbed with the supplied black gaskets, the metal of to Bright Showers needs as much thread as you can provide, do not think you can get away with no ceiling anchor, if you don't have access to above the ceiling get creative and think of a planter base or painted piece of wood you glued and screwed to the ceiling. That's about it, I spent about $170 on custom tailored add-ons. $180 for the tub enclosure, $199 for the Delta Faucet, I did compare with Delta with similar Moen faucets, but Deltas rough in product, ease of installation and flow adjustment and ability to replace the cartridge in minutes made the choice an easy one. I purchased a few tools, cordless blind plunge router,cordless 5" saw, cordless 3/8" drill. Now I had a great excuse to buy more tools! My family loves the new shower and my adult 6'4" son said "It is the most amazing shower experience I've ever had". Now he wants help converting his shower to this setup.

Great product, good quality, exactly as advertised. Delivery could have been quicker. I would recommend this product.
