Use this for egg bites, but it can be used for all types of foods. I do plan on buying another to use for freezing homemade dog food.

I rarely leave reviews (though I am not sure why because I have very strong opinions on the items we buy from Amazon). Long story short, I love the egg bites from Starbucks but do not love the price of them. I have attempted to make them at home in the oven only to find they were dry and boring. Recently bought an Instant Pot and just as I was about to purchase a Sous Vide setup merely to make the egg bites, I found this contraption. Bought it. Followed the recipe as written in the recipe book for the Starbucks copy cats egg bites and...OHHHH, MMMMM, GEEE....they are unreal. So good, so flavorful and even better in my opinion that what you can get at Starbucks. I could eat them all day. And thanks to this sub-$10 purchase, I saved the $$ for a $100+ sous vide setup. Cannot recommend enough!

I bought this specifically to make some sous vide egg bites (well, that are sort of, kind of reminiscent of of the ones I've had at Starbucks, except not really) and this was perfect for the egg mixture. I had no issues getting the eggs out (I did spray lightly with coconut cooking spray first) and I wiped them out after use. Then I out the on the top shelf in my dishwater and ran them through. There isn't a problem per say, just that it got a little film and I had to rinse and wipe them out after that. I don't think I'll put them in the dishwasher again, even though I don't think it had any affect on the integrity of the product. I just don't want to "wash" anything twice.
