Once the placquard is inserted into the case and the hook portion is hung in the rear view mirrow, life is so much easier. Grab placquard and get close to the magnet at the end of the mirror hook and done, and removal is just as easy. No more trying to get that little hook over the back of the mirrow holder. These make wonderful gifts.

Highly recommend. I actually have the hard plastic one in my car but when I drop it it cracks and/or marks up my interior. I bought this as a gift to my friend who just moved to Georgia. You just hook the magnetic hook on to rear view mirror and insert placard into plastic holder (which has own magnet). I keep my placard in my door pocket and easily reach for it and tap the magnets together. No more fighting with “hooking” process. And, to remove, I just pool my placard and replace in my door pocket. I think some of these may come with an extra magnet so you can store anywhere in your car. I purchased additional magnets for my daughters’ vehicles so if they need to drive me to appts or hospital, it’s easy to just grab my placard and install in their vehicles.

I received what I ordered. However, like all the other "handicap tag holders" I looked at, this holder was larger then it needed to be. So I made it smaller. The original holder accepts a handicap tag 10" long and 4.125" wide. My AZ handicap tag is only 7" long and 3" wide with its hook cut off. With the magnetic hooks included with this purchase, who needs the original plastic hook on the tag?! I cut the tag holder down so it measures 7.5 " long and 3.5 " wide. I used clear packing tape to make a tag holder out of the remainder again. Works for me and I don't have that big distraction blocking my view while I'm driving. Yes, I know you're suppose to take it down, but now that I've had it for 5+ years I can tell you the vast majority of people don't do that. Too much of a hassle, even if this one comes with a magnetic hook! I like it. I'd recommend it.

The tag cover and magnetic concept of this is good. It's convenient especially for those who can't drive or don't prefer to drive with the tag always hanging on the mirror. The cover protects the original tag hook from cracking from over use but is larger than the tag making it a small challenge to store it on center divider console. The extra hook is good if there's a 2nd car or for travel bag so you don't have to travel with original hook - easy to forget in a rental car. It would be great if the magnet was made a bit stronger or larger in future to make it quicker for the tag to attach - but a great invention.

Theory works , but the hook didn’t fit nicely on my rear mirror area, had to shave it a little to make it to fit the area. Other than that works as described in the ad
