Adapters didn’t fit my application,so I needed to make one (machined it from brass) the pump did not meet the needs of my “Frog fountain” and it threw it in the trash. No worth returning.

After trying many submersible pumps in my birdbath this is the first I have encountered that fully submerges and thus doesn't always suck air.Today the nearby tree dumped a large number of fibrous lumps (don't know a proper name for them) on the yard, filling the birdbath and totally clogging the pump, bringing it to a stop. I had to first completely drain and refill the birdbath with fresh clean water. Then disassemble the pump and remove all the fibers that had been sucked in and jammed the works and plugged the inlet and outlet.The disassembly and reassembly of the pump was surprisingly simple and easy compared to other submersible pumps I have tried out. It is now working even slightly better than the day I first tried it.Note: unlike many other submersible pumps, this lacks an inlet filter to keep debris from being pulled in. However I find this not a major issue due to the small size allowing it to work in my shallow birdbath, and very simple disassembly and assembly facilitating cleaning.Will have to wait through summer and fall to evaluate performance in winter's freezing temperatures, so expect an update to this review early in 2024.

This pump was perfect for our small water feature, as we didn't need one powerful enough to drive a big aquarium. The volume control is easier to use than in some others that have a dial you turn; the slider adjuster on this model is easy to handle and range is quite effective. I was able to dial in the flow rate I needed. Think I will buy a spare for the next time the raccoons destroy our pump!

When i received it i thought what is inside this little box, what did i order? Well I was looking for a water pump for my portable swamp cooler and saw these. I've had a swamp cooler for a couple years but the pump was always giving me trouble and fianlly gave out. The pump in the cooler was three times bigger than this pump. So when i opened the box and saw this 2 inch square pump i said to myself there is no way this little guy will pump water up two feet of hose, and if it does it won't be enough water to cover the swamp cooler. I was wrong, this little guy kicks ass. I have the Hessaire swamp cooler i use in my shop that I purchased here on Amazon, its a decent sized water cooler and this little guy worked perfectly. Good Little pump and a great price, will definitely purchase again
