While shopping on Amazon for a one-speed cruiser type bicycle, I happened upon this item, sixthreezero’s Around the Block Men’s Cruiser Bike. I gave it a try since it looked like the type of bike I wanted. I was not disappointed.Assembly was easy but took a couple hours at least with just one person. The accompanying instructions were possibly the best instructions that I have ever used for a product. Conversive, supportive and very explicitly explained, the instructions were a delight. The bike itself rides really well and supports my 255 lb frame nicely! Very smooth pedaling with no chain issues. This is a backward pedaling braking type of bike with just one speed. Be sure to have a bicycle pump to add air to the tires and a bit of bicycle grease for adding some of the parts. The tires are on the bigger side, like with most cruiser bikes. All in all, this is a fine cruiser bicycle. Highly recommended.

Edit#2, 3-24-24.. sadly I was correct about the non-existent customer service from the companyNo response to direct emails. The bike is starting to rust and I have to straighten the alignment of the handlebars to the forks a lot. The kick stand is sticking in the up position and is a bit too short. This bike is fine, however I have a classic Cali cruiser that I bought a decade ago and it's slightly longer and the seat height is an inch or so shorter than the 630 around the block cruiser. The bike feels a little awkward by comparison to my old one. To be fair I bought an E-Cruiser recently and it's almost identical in configuration to the 630 except it's powered. It feels like a 34 scale. The paint finish is very thin and fragile, scratches quite easily and shows fingerprints and spots on the matte frame finish and even on the high gloss goose neck. I scratched mine just sliding the handle bar assembly together. The seat springs are weak, I'm close to the max weight for this bike but even my 80lb kid said it sags to the back. The front wheel took some fiddling because it was tracking off center. Had to put a lot of torque to the goose neck handlebar Allen screw to tighten it to a point where the bars wouldn't move. The pedals feel warped, up and down as I pedal the bike, it's very distracting so say the least. Since all bikes are made by our eastern neighbors, I guess you get what you get when they make 2 million of them a year. I could have spent a lot more for the same bike at a local shop but they didn't want my money.Edit: there were several cards in the box with the bike and assembly instructions, one card advertised a "free bell" if you send an email to dustingATsixthreezeroDotCom of your Amyzoon revue. I sent them an email, That was 2 days ago and zero response. Makes me wonder what their customer support is like!?!?!?

My $99 Walmart bike needed to be replaced after 5 years. Did some google research and learned about a highly rated new bike company out of California. Reviews were really good. I was looking for a one speed "beach cruiser" - living in Florida where there are no hills at all - its all I need to ride around the neighborhood. Wanted to be able to sit up straight and just ride. (Age = 69). I went to the website and took a survey to determine the best bike match (never seen that before!) and they recommended two bikes. The one I was thinking of was one of them. Based on the reviews I was willing to pay more than $99 but didn't want to break the bank either. I figured $249 for a bike with a return policy was right up my alley so I ordered it. Next surprise was when it arrived. When I opened the box I was truly amazed at how well it was packed and protected. The entire frame paint was protected - all the parts were well wrapped and well secured. I knew then things were looking good. The next surprise was the assembly instruction manual. It was a four color small brochure written in English rather than translated from Chinese to English. Pictures, step-by-step instructions - clear as day. Assembly took about 25 minutes with no surprises. If you don't have your own tools, they provide ones good enough to get the job done. And just in case you lose a screw or two they provided extra nuts, bolts, and screws in a bag marked "EXTRA" in case you think you forgot to assemble something. Now for the best part! I called customer service to ask a question about my serial number to register the bike. I was on hold for about 4 minutes when the doorbell rang. I hung up the phone to answer the door. About 5 minutes later, I received a call back from their customer service department - " I see you tried to call us - is there anything we can help you with".....NOW THERE IS A FIRST! The bike was exactly what I expected. They offer a very reasonable lifetime warranty if you are interested or a one year warranty that comes with the bike. Check back with me in a few years but right now consider me a very satisfied customer!

Overview:This bike is PHENOMENAL. I can't understate how much it beats the cheap Walmart mountain bikes. Simplicity, comfort, and the ability to attach panniers really makes my daily commute simple. After riding 5 miles to school daily for months over bumpy terrain, hurrying to work and flying over curbs to avoid being late, this bike has never failed me once. The chain is about impossible to knock off unintentionally. On the other hand, it makes a great bike for a ride during a cool night. You can really just sit back and enjoy a slow, easy ride.Assembly:The bike comes with the frame and back wheel pre-assembled, so the only assembly required is popping on the front wheel and handlebars, which took me about 20-30 minutes to complete. The only issue I ran into in the beginning was part of the chain guard which was bent out of place and clanking against the pedals, presumably due to being mishandled during shipping. However, a pair of pliers and about 10 seconds of effort had it good as new.Accessories:The bike comes with a cargo rack that can function with many accessories, my favorite of which being panniers. These give you enough space to store just about anything you would need on a commute, like a bike lock, the included multi-tool for quick adjustments to handlebars or wheels, groceries, or a fresh change of clothes. Who knew such a simple edition could make such a huge difference? This bike gets a solid 10/10 for its price point. As a student working a minimum wage job, this thing has served me insanely well and has easily been taken two miles for every dollar I've spent. I suspect it will take me hundreds more. If you're looking for a bike that is inexpensive, durable, stylish, and allows for a ton of customization, I'd really recommend checking this one out.

I converted from my mountain bike to this bike since I'm now 55 and hate stooping over. I read reviews of a similar cruising bike and how they picked this one due to the seat being more comfortable and I agree. The seat is very wide, soft and has springs. The seat and handlebars are adjustable so I can sit upright. It reminds me of all the basic, throwaway bicycles in Amsterdam that people ride. (That's a whole story there) It has a flat black powder coat paint that looks classic with the whitewall tires. It just feels comfortable riding with the handlebars up higher. It's perfect for 30 min. bike ride around the neighborhoods. I got the basic since we live in the flat plains and have no significant hills. I would get the 3 or 5 adjustable gear if you have hills since there is some effort to begin pedaling with the basic, like is in a medium gear otherwise. But it is comfortable to pedal down the street, not spinning your legs too fast like in a low gear. Took me 50 minutes to unpack and put together with basic tools but they include some cheap, throwaway ones that would work. The chain was already put on the sprockets with I really appreciated! It seems the handlebars could have a better lockdown mechanism since I tightened pretty good and they still moved down a little when I pushed off to ride. I didn't want to over tighten and strip threads but I will try more. Only thing that really concerns me long term. I would give a 4.5 because I'm picky. For the price, this is really a great bike and comfortable!Hate to admit I'm aging and though fit, I'm more concerned about comfort on my neck and back to stay exercising and the mountain bike was keeping me from wanting to ride. This is perfect for just cruising, gets me some cardio and looks classic. Bravo. **Update** I added black fenders as a after purchase add on as I was getting splatter from early morning sprinkler water in street gutters and makes it look even more 50's retro look and they function great!
