At my husband had some difficulties to install and we were going to return, but vendor sent more info to assist and we were able to install. Great product love it in mybathroom

These covers were very easy to install and add a nice low light when the room is dark. I will be purchasing more of them.

Easy to install. They are the perfect lighting in the dark for my stairs and hallway. I can feel at ease that my house guests and family have sufficient lighting for late night trips to the bathroom or kitchen without falling in the dark.

Love it! Don’t have to take up precious outlet space in my older bathroom with a night. Light adjusts and comes on when it gets dark. Perfect!!

UPDATE (May 2024):After several back and forth with Customer Support, they offered to send me the newer version of the GFCI plate (the new version is called "GuideLight 2 Plus") to test—and the problems I had with the previous version of the plates are not present at all on the newer version. 12/10 would recommend for SnapPower's commitment to improving their products and their absolutely fantastic Customer Support Team.Also, get the new version "GuideLight 2 Plus" its 5/5 stars worth it.ORIGINAL REVIEW:First off, let me say that I’m a fan of SnapPower and their innovative designs for integrating nightlights into outlet covers—it’s an elegant solve for a simple problem.The Guidelight 2 (GFCI) and likely other similar versions has a pretty significant design flaw that prevents it from working properly. I’ve reached out to support and validated that my experience is the “expected” result. The flaw is this: the light sensor, that is integrated into the selector switch for Off-Low-High options for the light brightness, is recessed into the switch, which essentially keeps the sensor thinking that the room is darker than it is. If you have an overhead light (which is the majority of household light sources) to the outlet cover, it will naturally cast a shadow over the light sensor, causing even a fairly well-lit room to not be sufficient to turn off the nightlight on the cover. Only a directed light source or a significant brightness (think direct daylight + overhead lights) would cause the light sensor to trigger, turning off the nightlight.The previous versions of the cover that didn’t have the brightness selector had the light sensor more or less flush mounted, so there was no inherent shadow from any light source. I’m uncertain if this was something that was a design oversight or perhaps there was something that didn’t translate well from the prototype to the production models, but the fact that you can’t modify the sensitivity on the light sensor and the design of the cover causing it to be constantly on, negates the usefulness of this product.Sadly, customer support had no solutions and confirmed that if the sensor turned off with direct light, then “it was working properly”.So unless you’re installing this in an area that is showered with very significant ambient light and/or direct light when you want the nightlight to be off, this product will not work for you, which is truly a shame, because at $20+ a unit, that’s a very expensive useless cover.
