Did not like the idea of a heavy gauge wire running to my front bumper being hot all the time. Also, I've heard stories of vandals taking advantage of this. So I wired this solenoid up to a switch inside the cab. Worked like a charm!

Been using for almost a year now, no issues yet. Installed in the ground cable to the battery, and have a switch on the dash to disconnect power to the car.

Works great , but it does get hot after a few hours but had no issues.

Failed after 3 months and 4 days…… I should of gotten the stinger…. But I was being too cheap and paid the ultimate price…..☹️

This relay is amazing im using it for my 2022 ford bronco, so i would have a winch disconnect that would be able to be turned on or off by a simple switch or button to send power down to it and this worked perfectly because it has a high continuous amp ratting perfect for a winch would defiantly get another when the time comes.
