I was looking for something for everyday wear in my small town. I have several heavy wool vests that are too warm for indoor use. My light-weight Irish vests are too fancy/fragile/expensive for everyday wear. So, I thought I would try this cheap cotton vest. I'm pleased with it. I can wear it much of the time. It looks nice without the feeling of being over-dressed.I can usually wear large or extra large clothing. I needed to get this vest in extra large in order to be comfortable.You will need to iron it when it comes, but that's not a big deal.

This is a great quality vest. The size was great. There was an extra button in the pocket, and the back is the same material as the front, so it can be worn without a jacket. The vest is relatively light and comfortable, and the pockets are deep enough to be useful. The inner lining is soft, and the overall comfort is very good. The only complaint I have is, ( and some may find it trivial), there is no inner pocket. I am used to having these in other vests, and this was a let down.

Seam on lower part of vest was glued and completely unraveled after just one wash. Material just holds on to every fiber of lint also. Lightweight, yes and that part was nice.
