I would have given this purchase 5 stars but the suitcase does not expand (via a zipper). My fault. I didn’t notice it in the description or photos. I do LOVE the small case. It fits a lot of stuff; Undies, bras, socks, etc. in addition to toiletries. I received a lot of compliments in every airport I was in. I love the color…more light blue than gray.

The item is as pictured and described. It’s cute, durable, light weight and great value. My 5-year old grandgirl loved this birthday present and was so proud of it walking through the airport with her very own fancy ‘blue diamond’ travel bags. …until we left one at airport security, which thankfully was easily identifiable and found, because of the original matching set.

Great hard-sided carry-on roller suitcase with an adorable mini piece as a bonus that is a replica of the larger case. I really got a kick out of the mini as the inside features match the larger case exactly, though it may not be practical for airline travel due to carry-on restrictions in number.I chose the green and it is a beautiful soft mint color and I really like the unique pattern making it look like cracked porcelain and the texture making it look like a basket weave - it really sets it apart and it is not likely to be accidentally confused for anyone else's luggage. I am very happy with the quality of the zippers, telescoping handle, TSA lock, and wheels -- everything is very smooth to use, and the wheels are 360 spinners. The plastic exterior is strong and a little flexible but offers excellent protection for items.Inside, both pieces of luggage are divided into halves by a zippered flap that also has a mesh zipper pocket (even the mini case has this). In the main case, the straps used to hold items in place in the bottom half are not elastic, however they get a big thumbs up for a really easy prong clasp (It doesn't take much pressure to open and it slides open and closed with ease. I personally often have trouble with squeezing strength in my hand, so this is a really nice feature that I very much appreciate. I could also see this as a benefit for anyone with arthritis or for senior citizens). The straps are also very easy to adjust -- just slide the belt and this can even be done one-handed. The straps in the mini case are elastic.The mini case is beyond adorable, and I think it is really awesome. Size-wise it is like a large toiletry bag but with hard sides (my husband says it looks like a large lunch box). It has a great capacity as a toiletry bag and keeps everything separate from your clothes (so no risk for leaks). And as I mentioned inside it has the elastic bands and zippered separated halves and mesh pocket -- just like the larger case. It is really too small to use as a case for clothing unless you just wanted to take a single light change of clothes with you during an outing. However, my husband pointed out that it is much more practical for travel by car or train or if using this for anything besides plane travel. Given current airline restrictions, the larger case counts as the carry on, so if you also have a purse or computer bag, the mini case won't be able to be used as a carry-on as well, even for toiletries -- which was disappointing to actually think about but doesn't diminish how cute I think it is. I tried seeing if it would fit inside the main case, but it is too large for that, and you cannot actually close the larger case around the smaller one.I am very happy with the set and love the unique style and quality it offers. And I still love the little mini, even if my husband rained on my parade for its practicality; but I will absolutely make use of it as a toiletry bag when we travel for extended weekend trips by car.
