So there is really one thing I didn't like about this 4-ch relay... and the rest was fantastic. The relay ONLY has an option for operating in NO (normally open) mode and there are several uses that I love to switch to NC (normally closed) for relays. Is that a huge deal? NO. But it is something to be aware of if you're looking for that functionality. I do like that there is an output header for expanding to another relay module for more control, and that the header extends all the way through the other side of the PCB for stacking and access. The relay modules were rated for more than enough current and voltage options to make this a very useful HAT to have. Setting it up on the software side was fairly simple with the written instructions and the LED's on the top indicated the status of the relay as it was actuated.

Really nice relay hat. Much more compact and easier to use than an external board. I am using this on a project to connect and control my soda machine that operates the dispensers at 120VAC. The relays act just like the switches do and make momentary contact to dispense a drink. The code to operate the relays is very easy to understand and include in my project. I am able to credit my machine remotely now and even dispense a drink if I want to. Overall a great relay HAT that has MANY uses. I really like that I expand it using their expansion port to connect another 8 relays if needed.
