I used this hat today while stand-up paddling (SUP) in Malibu. Comfortable and definitely protected me from the sun. I also like the ventilation in it, so I don’t get too hot.

Great hat for my husband when in the ocean. Now I can see where he is! Wish the brim were a tiny bit wider , but overall. I’m satisfied.

I wasn't really prepared to like this hat. I usually wear a ball cap and think I look like a total dork in anything else....well, I do. But, this hat is worth looking like a dork in LOL. However, I don't look quite as dorky in this one because it's not quite as wide brimmed as some hats are. I have a tiny head and finding hats that don't look stupid on me is difficult. This one also has a drawstring around the base that allows it to be sized down, while also being big enough for the average head as well. The other thing I like is that when I draw the base tighter, it pulls in the back part of the hat toward my neck, thus keeping my neck covered. I tucked the strap up under the hat and didn't even notice it was there, but it's great to have when you are fishing and it's windy out. It's great!
