The hat is good, does its job, and has a nice design, but if you have a big head, it’ll feel tight or won’t fit at all. I’m using it while it lasts, but it’d be great if they offered larger sizes.

Easy to use and comfortable, seems well made with good materials. Keeps the sun out of my eyes and off my face during extended surf sessions. The front brim flips up when duck diving under waves, but I think any other surf hat would do that also... not a real problem. Very happy.

A quality hat. Stitching is basically perfect, the brim offers excellent sun protection all around your whole head including the back of your neck if you have shorter hair. The only problem is the fact my head is a little too big. Even after I had my hair thinned out as well. So I plan on giving this away to someone at Christmas. I'm thinking my coworker who inspired me to buy this hat, because he wears them at work. I'm pretty sure he would really appreciate it, and his head is smaller than mine so I know it will fit. Mine doesn't as I said, but just barely, even after getting my hair thinned out. But he gets his hair buzzed all around, and his head is smaller to begin with. So it should fit perfectly, and I know he would really appreciate it.

So I bought this hat knowing well that it likely wouldn't fit me. I have a very large head, and figured if it didn't fit me I'd give it to my mom. Afterall, she burns easy and I'm a good son. The hat itself is quite cute, I thought the strap was cute, my mom didn't like it as much but that's just a matter of taste. As I expected the hat did not fit my very large head, but I wasn't expecting it to barely fit my mom's average to small head. If your head is even slighlty larger than average do not get this it will not fit you right. You could cram your head in there but it will look like you're wearing a child's hat.Interestingly, the arm guards it came with almost fit me (I am in fact a fat man and was not expecting them to even come close to it). It's a stretchier fabric so maybe that's why. The hat itself is also slightly stretchy, so there is a little wiggle room in the fit just not much.If you have a small head and think this hat is cute it's worth trying out. I can't in good faith recommend it to anyone with a large head but it's still nice regardless.
