Great Electric latch!If you don't have a way of wiring a momentary single 12v+ pulse, and applying a constant 12v+ during unlock, make sure to use all four wires and wire it through the micro switch so that it immediately cuts off power after releasing the latch. This way you won't burn it out by applying continuous power.This device is awesome and works exactly as it should. Perfect for non heavy duty things like drawers, cabinet doors, etc.

This lock has a spring loaded latch that locks automatically when the loop is shut against it. The latch can be released manually by pressing the lever at the back or by retracting the solenoid with 12v run through the wires going into the lock. This can be plugged into an existing security system or used to make your own, including for hidden door or compartments. The system is fairly intuitive for set up and installation.

I bought this to lock my bedroom cabinet controlled by a RFID keyfob and arduino board. I have been using it regularly for about 6 months now and it is working very well. I was lucky when aligning it and both locks worked great. They seem very strong and reliably unlock when triggered. Be warned, they are quite loud and pop the cabinet open a bit when triggered. I personally like this effect and find it satisfying but it may not be ideal if you want something discrete.
