Update: after light use the clear plastic area does seem to scratch very easily. Still enjoying the case but will see how the longevity goes.Just arrived today. I did a lot of research and read a lot of review on MacBook cases for my new MacBook Pro. I was skeptical on how it would install and affect overall appearance. I LOVE it. The case install instructions could be better but it went on snug and looks great as well as feels durable and protective. I love the sparkles. I also love that it came fully sealed and even had the removable plastic protection film to prevent scratches to the transparent surface during transit. Time will tell on how it holds up, but I am very optimistic. Love the feel of it on, doesn't add much thickness at all and gives me peace of mind for my new device.

I love this case!!! Definitely a quality case with sparkles throughout. You can still see the Apple logo through the clear black. The sides are protected with a bumper edge, and it stays on and fits quite snuggly.
