I have not had a problem with my amps since I installed these fuse blocks. the glass fuses I had previously were nothing but problems.

This fuse holder perfectly worked for my DIY DC-DC box for my overlanding build. Over the last few months, I've been building a grid for my truck so that I don't only have the one battery to lean on. I of course went down the LiFePo4 hole and ended up getting a couple small batteries in parallel and a dc charger. My main issue was protecting all that gear from overcharge or a short. I used some 4awg wire and ran it from the drive battery to a master switch to the charger and put two of these fuses in line with that. 100amp fuse will be plenty for what I'm trying to accomplish with just lights and a small bilge pump. I have one of these mounted in the engine bay and another in the cab. I worry about the plastic cover for the one in the engine bay with all that heat and stress. Time will tell if that holds up. I might add some silicone to the perimeter if anything starts showing signs of failure. But I have all the faith in these heavy duty fuses. Just have to keep them doing their job.

These come very well packed, two in a package each with it's own fuse.The clear plastic cover comes off pretty easily, although it does fit on snug and tight, it needs to be removed when screwing the base down, and when attaching the cables. Then put the clear cover back on for safety as it covers the live circuit connections.The fuses are replaceable, and standard for this type of holder, you can see though the plastic top whether the fuse is blown or not. You can put in various amperage sized fuses, so if you need a 100 and 50 in your circuit, you can just buy an extra actual fuse instead of buying two sets.I'm going to use these on my home made solar panel setup to protect things powered by the battery.
