I'm very protective of my controller so when I ordered this mount I had some skepticism. After having used it, I can say it works but I'm still cautious and the setup requires frequent monitoring. The mounting kit includes a metal plate that mounts onto the back of the RC2 controller, a ball mount extension arm and a ball mount handlebar clamp. Attachment is straightforward and simply involves attaching the controller to the extension arm, attaching the ball clamp to the handlebars and then adjusting the mount and tightening it to the bars. How well does it work? When all is firmly attached, it holds firmly. One big factor in the equation is the smoothness of the roads as this mount provides no shock protection. There is some absorption that occurs through the extension arm but it's not designed for that function and it translates into oscillation/vibration of the controller. The rougher the road, the greater the oscillation to the point where the controller position may change as the joints begin to slip. There's also no backup/safety strap so if the unthinkable occurs the controller will take a tumble. In the picture one the pins is out. I'm not sure why the clamp includes a removable pin but it's only held in by friction and could be lost over time.Bottom Line: This mount will work great for follow-me shots using my drone and is much safer than me trying to ride and carry my mount simultaneously. The mount has good construction but I'd like to see some type of dampening to protect the controller, a backup safety strap and I'm not sure what's up with the removal pin on the clamp. Just be aware and plan around the mount's limitations and it should work fine.
