Yes, it is expensive, but it is worth it for these reasons: (1) No more messy gunk on my bathroom counter. The little disk captures it all, and if you get the silver metal color, the toothpaste color blends in and the gunk is almost unnoticeable. (2) My toothbrush doesn’t fall over with the slightest nudge. (3) It is extremely easy to clean, (4) It doesn’t rust and remains super shiny, (5) The quality is so good it seems like it will last forever, making the high cost worth it - a fraction of a penny a day. I’m super happy with my purchase and bought one for every family member. Note: make sure you use it correctly, one side of the peg is slightly wider than the other. If it doesn’t fit perfectly then rotate it slightly until it fits easily.
