I have owned other adjustable dumbbells and purchased the racks that were designed for the sets. Often times the rack does the trick but raises concerns as to just how sturdy they are. Upon opening the box, it is readily apparent that these racks do not fall into that category. They are made of heavy gauge square steel pipe welded together and the joints are firmly attached via threaded holes. Once assembled this rack isn't going anywhere. It is very sturdy and lifting off and setting down the dumbbells leaves no doubt that the rack will do it's job. I understand the other racks will also, but it's nice to have a rack that you don't feel like you have to gingerly pick up and set down your 90 lb dumbbells! ;) Definitely a strong recommendation for this rack.

Very easy to put together, solid for 80lb set.Only issue was, box was already opened, some small pieces missing, one of the brackets was cracked. Replaced in less than 2 days.

When I ordered this item initially, most of the nut and bolts to assemble were missing. The bag holding the hardware was not sealed and the seams of the box were not sealed. It was clear that they fell out along the way. I requested an exchange for that item. The replacement stand came. Again, nuts and bolts were falling out of the box with a little trail leading down my driveway of washers and nuts. I wouldn't bother ordering this product.

The stand is sturdy and well built. It was easy to assemble. The height of the stand is too high and requires a lot of effort to lift weights off the stand or especially to put them back aligned properly. This is even more difficult when using heavier weights. Maybe they can make the height adjustable. Also, I wish they made different colors for the stand to match my weights vs plain gray.
