This is so fancy for such a everyday object and I absolutely love it lol. It's so extra. The only problem I encountered with it is that it doesn't hold very many toothpicks bc they have to be packed in at an angle. I have regular size toothpicks and they barely fit in it unless I only put a handful in at a slight angle rather than the whole box sitting straight up and down. But, I will sacrifice space for uniqueness bc I'd rather have to refill it more often than have a normal run of the mill dispenser. It pops open easily with very little pressure and as long as no toothpicks jiggle into the way it closes easily too. If any get in the way, u can depress it and let it go rapidly a few times and it gets the toothpicks to rearrange inside and make it easier to push closed. It's nice and heavy, with good weight. It does not feel cheap at all. I absolutely love it!!

Everyone loves these toothpick egg holders. They are a conversation piece. I have purchased several for gifts but this one is a little too green on the top of the holder and too bright blue. Green doesn't quite match so next time I will purchase another color. All the colors I have purchased are great except this one. The gold and white is the nicest.
