We put everything together and started up the car to hear this odd sound coming from the transmission. The sound went away when we pressed in the clutch pedal. I bought this kit to try and save some money for the 5 speed swap I was doing, but we had to disassemble everything to replace this throw-out bearing with a locally bought one. Doesn't make the noise anymore.

Everything matched up well and bolted in easily. My family has put about 2000 miles on the car since I installed the clutch and it continues to feel great.
