I'm an adult and six feet tall but my arms are thin. I had previously used a guard that was stiff and 7.5 inches long. That required me to remove my smart watch and and it still bit into my wrist when I moved. If I slid it up to keep it from biting my wrist, it bit my arm at the elbow bend. So I bought this guard, knowing that it was shorter. It's stiffer than it needs to be, but it's short enough that I can keep my smart watch on and not get bit by the guard. The middle of my forearm, which is the only part ever in danger of getting bit by the bow string, is well-protected. If you've got beefy forearms, this wouldn't be a good guard for you. I do like the quick release buckles very much. Estimate and adjust the strap length one time, then you can quickly use the plastic quick release buckles when donning and doffing after that.

I bought these for my cub scout pack. They range in ages from Kindergarten to 5th graders. These were easy for them to put on and adjust to different sizes. They are holding up well. WE have 30 different shooters in one day and they do well each time.

Easy to get on and off. Full protection on the forearm for kiddos shooting arrows. The boy has not worn it for more than 30 minutes at a time, but has not mentioned it getting hot or uncomfortable at any point. Fits a tall seven year old without a problem. Mom can even wear it safely and comfortably.
