What a different shower experience with this Speakman shower head! The water is soft, disbursed nicely and it thoroughly gets you wet! Washing your hair is so easy, and it really pushes a lot of water through the head. Highly recommend.

Great product. Florida water is the worst on blonde color treated hair. I had a hairdresser recommend the Spearman shower head and filter-my color stays perfect!

The filter for the Speakman shower head is very easy to change and makes a noticable difference in the water. Definitely reduces skin and hair dryness.

I used one of these filters for almost a year. I know, I should have only used it six months but I forgot. The filth that it captured boggled my mind.

I sought out this shower head as I have enjoyed it the last two times I stayed at the Ambassador Resort in Kingston, ON. I ordered this shower head for our condo in Alberta and made sure to order the one with the filter as we have incredibly hard water that does nothing to help my long hair. The filter and pressure of this shower are absolutely perfect! I look forward to my daily shower now and highly highly recommend this product!!!!

I recently purchased, installed and showered under three different filtered shower heads and one shower filter. The Speakman Hotel Pure is the best of the lot.The had a decent amount of pressure, and the filtration was very good. I don't particularly care for shower heads that have multiple spray patterns but I gave it a shot. The downside to the Culligan was the width of the standard "rain" spray output. The jets were pointed almost directly straightforward, so the water didn't provide a lot of coverage. Returned.The was the second shower head I tried and also the worst of the lot. It has only one setting, which is fine with me, but the pressure was horrible. Very, very weak, almost as if the water was turned on only halfway. I removed the flow restrictor and the pressure improved, but at that point there's no way of knowing how much more water you're using. I live in a community where a typical water bill for a family of three can surpass $200 a month, so the flow restrictor is unfortunately necessary for me. Returned.Next, I tried a with my existing . Very difficult to install. Numerous complaints about the Culligan's fittings being loose are true. Upon turning on the shower, the Culligan filter basically ruptured and water began pouring out of every seam on the unit. Returned.Which leads me to the Speakman Hotel Pure. I was hesitant to buy it at first because it comes with a steep price and didn't have many reviews at the time of my purchase. But, Speakman is a highly regarded brand in this space; if anybody could get it right, it's them.Upon unboxing this shower head, I was surprised at its size. It is very large, about 33% larger than my old Delta shower head, and it's fairly bulbous as well. But the quality was immediately evident. Everything was made to exacting standards. The filter removal lock had a solid click to it. The filter itself was larger than any other shower head filter I've yet tried. Installation was very easy and I was impressed with how solid the fitting was. No leaks anywhere.The water output of the Speakman was the best part. The pressure rivals the output of my "amplifying" Delta shower head. The jets work in sort of a crossing pattern to create the perception of more water. The width of the spray pattern was just right as well; great coverage. A smaller ring of high-pressure jets can be accessed by turning the diverter on the side of the shower head. It was very nice but again, I only need one setting so this had no bearing on my review rating. It was clear after one shower that the Speakman filter does a great job of filtering out contaminants and even softening the water a bit. My skin and hair felt great.The up-front cost of this shower head will naturally be a deterrent to some buyers, but the quality is far and away better than any other filtered shower head currently available. The good news is that replacement filters are no more expensive than those used in competing shower heads.
