This Spears schedule 80 PVC cap fitting has female NPT threads, and is suitable for closing or terminating the end of a pipe or fitting with male NPT threads. National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads create a tighter seal than straight threads. This cap fitting is made of gray PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for chemical and corrosion resistance, high strength, and less weight than fittings made from metal. It is compatible with schedule 80 (thick wall) PVC pipes and fittings, and is suitable for chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, and chemical drainage and wastewater treatment systems. PVC can be connected to other materials such as steel, copper, or cast iron using transition fittings. The fitting has a maximum operating temperature of 140 degrees F, meets ASTM International D1784 and D2467 standards for quality assurance, and is certified by National Sanitation Foundation International (NSF) for potable water service. This schedule 80 PVC cap fitting is suitable for closing or terminating pipes used for conveying drinking water, waste water, chemicals, and other liquids in a range of industries.

Se los instale a un Mustang 94, el cambio de los bulbos originales a este es muy notorio, mucha más luz y llega más lejos

Excelente producto, me agrado bastante el color, con un toque muy ligero de azul, no encandila a los demás vehículos y a un precio excelente, recomendables para el remplazo OEM que son OSRAM.

Al ser marca Philips y por el precio pensé que era muy brilloso pero es una luz amarilla no tan fuerte aunque aceptable, carros más viejos me ciegan, no volveré a comprar este tipo de focos.

Package arrived in two days. Package indicates that these bulbs were made in Germany and they are DOT approved. The bulbs are clear (no blue or yellow tint) with a small silver coating on the tip. I installed them in the stock projector housings of my 5th Gen 4Runner. Original bulbs still worked but I wanted additional distance and brightness.I chose these bulbs because the 4Runner's projector housing works best with the light source of a halogen filament. Projector housings require a very tight, focused light source from a specific spot in the center of the housing to get the most distance and clarity. LED elements (even in a properly-sized H11 LED bulb) are too thick for the housing to properly focus the light forward of the vehicle. An LED bulb would light my garage door brightly, but because LEDs lack the centrally focused light source required by projector housings, they won't project down the road as far as a halogen. Many 4Runner owners have installed HID lights with filaments that work for them, but I chose to avoid using ballasts or making modifications to the dust caps.The performance of these bulbs is a huge improvement in both distance and width of beam. I estimate that they light up the road 30% further, 20% wider, and 40% brighter over the original bulbs. The light is noticeably whiter than the original bulbs but still on the yellowish (softer) side of pure white (probably 3400K to 3500K). This color is a better wavelength for night vision (of driver and oncoming drivers) than bluish white and the color works well in foggy conditions. I often drive on dark, rural two-lane roads. With the added brightness and distance, I've found that I don't need to use high beams as often when running these bulbs.I've used similar bulbs on other vehicles in the past, and I know that the life of these bulbs is much shorter than the standard halogen. I expect no more than one or two years of life with these bulbs. Personally, the performance is worth the cost and time of replacing them. Installing the bulbs takes only a few minutes, and I did not need to adjust the headlights after installing these bulbs. I highly recommend wearing clean latex gloves when installing any bulb. Getting dirt or even grease from your fingers on any headlight bulb will decrease the life and performance of the bulb due to uneven heating of the glass.

my stock Jeep Wrangler came with German Vosla 28092 (basic model) from the factory. I thought I would upgrade to Philips X-tremeVision to see, how much brighter it becomes. It's kinda a pain to remove headlight bulbs on a Wrangler. After removing the grille and headlight assembly (held by T15 bits), new Philips bulbs were put in.Just by turning the lights on in the garage after installation, I could already tell right away they were brighter. Then I went for a test drive around the neighborhood and yes, these lights definitely shine much brighter on the road. Good upgrade for my Jeep! Let's see, how long they last. Given the lifetime estimate on the box (up to 150 hours), it should probably give me 3-4 years seeing I dont drive at night much and luckily Jeep doesnt have daytime running lights :-)Feb 28, 2020 update: Just got back from a long road trip (around 3000 miles): Those headlight bulbs made a big difference on the road. I noticed the low beams were strong enough so that most of the time, I didnt even run high beams. Was definitely worth the money to upgrade these. Finally, I feel my Jeep Wrangler has got adequate head lights on the road.

Verificando los comentarios me animé a comprarlos ya que son más caros que los originales que usa mi Sentra (también Philips pero los más básicos). Debo decir que Si se nota una mejoría!, si iluminan mejor y un poco más, no son 100% más como lo anuncian pero igual si un 40-50% mejor en todos los sentidos (distancia, aro de luz, etc.). Por el precio es de pensarse ya que podrías comprar un kit de xenón o de led, sin embargo yo si los volvería a comprar ya que me gusta como iluminan. También leí que se quejaban que no son blancos y de hecho en el empaque indica que ilumina en 3400 kelvin, es decir la frontera de casi amarillo a blanco. Viéndolo desde afuera se ven un poco blancos no amarillentos como los originales pero No parecen de xenón ni se ve blanco, si buscas ese efecto entonces no son estos para ti. Si buscas una buena iluminación sin tener que usar led o xenon Si los recomiendo. Yo no quise usar ni xenón ni led porque los qué hay de 200-600 no son buenos y los que si valen la pena andan entre 900-1600 pesos pero duran 2, máximo 3 años sin fallas.

Mejora la visibilidad a comparación de la luz de alogena amarilla, pero se puede obtener mejores resultados con una luz led, el detalle está en la calidad de los materiales que es de muy buena calidad y algunos leds son de muy baja calidad y encandilan a los demas conductores

La mejor opción para mejorar la iluminación, son de muy alta calidad, pero hay que saber que duran menos. La luminosidad aumentada vá de la mano con un mayor desgaste del filamento. Por esa razón éstos duran en promedio la mitad que uno original o OEM. He usado X-treme Vision y Crystal-Vision por años en varios autos y siempre se nota la mejora.Es necesario considerar bien el sacrificio de un elevado costo y reducida duración, si para tí está bien, son los mejores focos que puedes poner. Verdaderamente iluminan mejor y se nota.Mucho mejor que un retrofit de LED o HID que siempre quedan fuera de foco en el reflector y deslumbran mas de lo que iluminan. Total seguridad pues sabes que lo que van a alumbrar es el camino y no a otros conductores. Además no requieren cambio alguno ni afectan la garantía del auto.

It is definitely brighter than the stock bulb. Stock bulb is a bit yellowish in color this philips 9003 100% is much whiter in color and the throw is definitely farther.
