This is advertised as a men's hoodie, but I got it as I am a runner and am always in need of lightweight and comfortable running clothes for the cold weather in Northern NY.I am familiar with the Spyder brand and suspected it would be extremely high quality and I was not disappointed. While this can be worn anywhere and any time, I'm going to talk about it as a must have jacket for runners.The jacket itself is very attractive looking and incredibly comfortable. It is warm yet lightweight fleece and does wick away sweat. It keeps me warm throughout my run without getting overly sweaty. It also protects well against the wind.The jacket comes with 3 large zip-up pockets that will hold just about anything you could want and you don't have to worry about anything falling out. It also has 2 very large and deep open inner pockets where you could easily store lighter items.Most hoods are difficult to wear as a runner unless you tie them down very tight as they tend to flop around as you run. This hood is more form fitting which lies flat against your back when you don't have it up and holds firmly around your face when it is up. It has a unique adjustable fastener around a thick cord to adjust the tightness of the hood without having long ties swinging around or coming undone.It has all the little nuances of high quality without the outrageous price. An example is the small piece of fabric at the top so that when fully zipped the zipper tab is hidden protecting your neck from getting rubbed on by the plastic zipper tab. The zippers are all high quality and I believe will last a long time.I am thrilled with this jacket and it will get a ton of use. Highly recommended.

This is my first time ever owning a spider product. I have to say it's a really nice zip up sweatshirt! I'm 5'8" and 175 and the medium size fits me well, and it's very comfortable, and warm. At first, I didn't really like the way it felt on the outside, they reminded me of how long johns feel but, when you put a jacket on over it because of the material the jacket arms slip nicely over it just like some long johns do when you put pants on. It has inner pockets, as well as outer pockets to keep your hands warm. The quality of the fabric and zippers are really good as well. The one thing I don't like about it is on the back where the hood is connected the stitched area has rubber lettering on it. When you put it on, the rubber lettering kind of grips to the back of your neck and feels a little funny until you adjust your shirt so it doesn't touch your bare skin. Because of that I gave it four stars. However, overall it is a really nice sweatshirt and for the price of less than $30 it's a great deal!

This Spyder full zip active fleece hoodie is thin but decently warm. It's not going to stop a 32-degree (F) chill, but I wore it on a 45-degree day today all day. It's thin for a fleece hoodie, with the outer material feeling like a mesh style fleece, while the inner feels more like a traditional but thin fleece hoodie. It looks great open or closed, and washed up well the first time I washed it.This has a nice thin hood that hangs relatively flat at your upper back since the material isn't thick, which is a great relaxed look without looking like you're wrapped up in a thicker layer of fleece. It doesn't have typical drawstrings for the hood either, these are embedded in the rim of the hood and there's no worry about these pulling out.I got the XL because, well, like so many others, I gained a few pounds this winter and I'm straddling the boundary of a size L and a size XL. I tend to like things to be a little bit looser on me, especially a zip hoodie, so I picked up a size XL.However, I'm about 205 pounds and 5'11" tall and I wish I would have gotten a size L instead.Great, lightweight, full-zip hoodie that's still warm enough for a cool, crisp day. It seems to fit slightly bigger than other brands, at least at the XL size, so I recommend staying true to your size with this for a comfortable, relaxed fit.

Ordered a large for 5'7" 190 lb male.This olive green spider hoodie is a great buy! It is medium weight with a soft interior and good fabric feel. This hoodie fits exactly as size chart says and like other spider products. Pattern on the fabric is like small diamonds of olive on black, but blends in overall. All pockets are zippered....two side hand pockets and upper wallet/chest pocket. All the pockets have padding between your body and the pocket to prevent items from poking into you. Main zipper had cover to stop drafts from wind. Hood has integrated string with a self tightening toggle, so you won't loose a string.This is a great quality hoodie that I highly recommend.!!Great product, great price and excellent quality!!

I'm loving this hoodie. It has 3 zipper pockets (two for hands and a third for wallet/phone near the top of the chest), which I really like because I'm always worried my stuff will fall out of pockets. I usually wear a large and ordered an XL this time, because I wanted a roomier fit. The large probably would have been a better fit, but it's exactly what I wanted. It's very light-weight, and not very warm. It's something you'd want to wear for 50-65 degree (f) weather. Overall, I'm very happy with it and will wear it a lot. 5 stars.
