Larger in size, great coverage for the wider bottom mugs and cups. Cork base catches all moisture and so far, no staining. Real wood surround and tabs on the underside so they don’t scratch surfaces. Would purchase again if I needed more, 4 works for now.

I admittedly have a bit of an addiction to my carbonated beverages, and especially on warmer days, I was tired of them sweating onto the table leaving ugly rings. These coasters are wide enough that they can accommodate more than just a standard can, they have feet on the bottom that helps keep them in place, and while the wood feels a touch cheep, it's a coaster. It keeps my drink can from leaving moisture rings, which is what I got it for.

Generous in size—fit even large mugs and glasses. They look pleasant. Best of all, the cork center absorbs condensation and these coasters do not stick to the bottom of a glass when you pick it up. I was so pleased that I ordered a second set. I have some truly lovely coasters, but all of them attach themselves to the bottoms of icy glassware.

These coasters look really nice at first glance, evenly shaped with centered cork discs. They stack neatly for easy storage. Each has five anti-slip pads on the bottom which also protect your furniture from scratches and are an improvement in stability over those with only 3 or 4 pads. Their generous size means I've had no issues with any glasses not fitting in them, the cork area alone is almost 4" across.I'm not sure why they are claimed to be "extra absorbent" as cork is actually waterproof, hence it's use as a wine stopper for the last few hundred years.Finish is my only issue with these. The dark color on the bottom and outside does not carry over into the top edge and the surface leading from the rim down to the cork, these areas are MUCH lighter in color which is unfortunate since I wanted (and ordered) a darker brown color. Also, they feel a bit rough in some places as if they skipped the final sanding step. Not a huge deal, but cleaning these may result in visible, snagged bits of cloth or paper towel being stuck on the coasters. Overall though, they look good and perform well.
