Wow, better than I thought they would be. Solid and sturdy, don’t think I’ll run into a snap ring I can’t take off anytime soon, prefer these to the huge ratcheting snap ring pliers that take up a whole drawer. Use them for super large snap rings on forklifts and they haven’t disappointed me yet.

Don't even start on the 2011 4x4 Superduty front hub assembly without these. You will fight the axle snap ring for an hour with junk pliers before you come in and order these snap ring pliers. Wait 2 days and then take 20 seconds to remove the snap ring. Piece a cake with the right tools.

Anyone that owns a Ford Super Duty and has had to remove the C-clip on the axle stub to take off the hub knows that it is an absolute pain in the ass. These were recommended to me by a mechanic and there is really no substitute. The snap ring pliers from Lowe's broke under the stress. Save yourself the headache and buy the right tool for the job.

I had a difficult job pulling snap ring to remove front wheel assembly on 2005 Ford Superduty, this tool did the job without being damaged. I didn't have to alter it in any way, I highly recommend it whether a certified Mechanic or a uncertified Meniac.
