A bit of a pain to hook up to an existing system, but works well once you get it hooked up. Also looks nice once you get it hooked up.

Installed this 4-in-1 bass knob in my buddy's truck to give him more control over his subwoofer. The voltmeter is a handy addition for keeping an eye on the system's voltage. Adjusting the gain is straightforward with the knob. The on/off switch for the amplifier is convenient, saving the need to run back to the amp itself. The high-to-RCA converter worked without any issues, allowing connection to the factory head unit. The blue LED display is easy to read. The one-touch on/off for the display is a small but useful feature. It combines several functions into one unit, which simplifies the wiring and keeps things cleaner.

I bought this to replace a bass knob voltmeter I was using that read voltage incorrectly. Set it up, powered it up and it works.However, I missed that this unit at max level will add +14dB gain to the RCA input. Using this with a subwoofer that is already tuned to the gain on my headunit, it went very distorted at max gain. Not the fault of the unit but of my understanding of what I was getting. If I keep it between the lowest setting and just before the - sign on the dial, its about the same as my old knob. Can't push it higher, I like my sub/amp! Maybe reducing sub output at the HU is the key here, I havent tested that. The old knob I had was just level control with no gain so it will take some getting used to.I like that the voltmeter is on or off with a push of the button.One real downside is that if I turn the car off with this unit in the ON mode, powering the sub, it thumps loudly as the power is cut. If you turn the amp off with the knob before powering down, no thump, obviously. It isn't my HU, I tested without this in the subwoofer path. Lost a star for the thump.I liked the plug in wires for power/remote and high level audio, and having rca in/out is also a plus. Allowed me to make connections on my bench without having to keep the unit from moving around while I dealt with the witing.Numbers are huge and not super bright, but again can be toggled on or off.

This meter is quite useful! the knob turns up or down the volume and it's actively driven instead of passive which is much better way to do it. When you press the button in momentarily, it shows the voltage which is a nice touch. Lastly when you hold it in it'll turn on or off the remote output to the amp. Super useful feature.
