It’s a cute small storage solution (things like cat toys or extra candles). It’s not super big (we couldn’t fit the couch throw blanket). It’s sturdy enough to use as a foot stool, but doesn’t feel like it will accommodate much more weight (maybe small children could sit on it).

Hard to assemble, it is a cute idea for storing things, but small and over priced.

These are so cute! I purchased two in the light wood color, two in the dark wood color - I use them as photo props. They photograph beautifully - you can't tell that they aren't real. I was looking at ceramic ones or REAL wood stumps and tables - but they are so pricey! These are much more portable and easy for me to setup by myself since they are so light weight. Also great they they can be used for storage! I'm not a petite gal, and I have used these to sit on as well. I didn't expect them to be so sturdy. Would purchase again! I also love that they are collapsible so I can put them away/store them when not in use. Highly recommend. Great for a baby or toddler's room with a woodland or forest theme, too. I love them!

I have purchased the pine stump unit in the past and loved it, so decided to give the birch stump a try. I’m so glad I did - it is adorable! Fits our forest-themed living area so nicely. What you should know: this item comes shipped flat. It is made of a heavy grade plastic inner support system with a fabric “tree” covering. To assemble you pop the circular side section open, insert the bottom stabilizer ring (make sure it snaps in place), then the top stabilizer ring (snaps in place too), then add the cute “tree ring” topper/seat. The topper has a little fabric pull tab so you can open and close the unit easily. I enjoy doing crafts and this little storage unit has enough space inside for my craft work. It could also hold your book and reading glasses, a package of snacks in the family room, a pair of slippers, etc. when assembled properly this little “stump” appears extremely realistic. Yes, it can be sat on, but it’s really not wide enough for a comfortable stool except for children. The fun of this little item is how it looks. Honestly this is just the cutest little stool. A very realistic, useful, and fun piece of decor!

Isn’t quite like photo; you can see the white inner lining on the top so it ruins the log illusion. For the price I guess that’s fair.
