This light is a workhorse. I’ve owned 4 of these over my 9 years in LE(only one has had an issue and the others were simply lost). I’ve used them as a patrolman, a narcotics officer and a K9 handler. They have held up very well. I made the switch to the Strion from the Stinger several years ago to have a smaller light and have not missed the Stinger at all. The light is fast charging and last for a couple of days of constant use on vehicle searches through out a 12 hour shit. The light is bright enough for distance and close range inspection. It’s compact and is approximately the length of a bladed hand. The only issue I had was with a battery which Streamlight quickly replaced. I would recommend this light to anyone.

I wish it was a little brighter but for its size, output and beam it’s pretty impressive. I’ve dropped it multiple times with no issues. Will update if a problem arises.* Update as of March of 2019: No issues after a good year of use. Looks practically brand new. The beam isn’t too bad for only 260 lumens or whatever it is. For what it is it’s a good light. If you want something brighter get the HL High Lumen.** Update as of Oct. 2020 - this light is my go to for not only me but also my family. Absolutely no issues with this light at all. Still performs like it did when I got it. I expect to have this light for a long time.** Update as of Dec. 2021: Still works as if it’s brand new. It’s been dropped plenty of times and is starting to show some wear/use but the quality is still high. No issues. Great light. Worth the money.

Streamlight flashlights never disappoint with their feel, quality and beams. The only complaint is the “belt clip”. The attachment feels odd and almost like an afterthought. It is bulky and makes the light feel like a cheaper product. I opt to remove the clip and just put it in my pocket instead.Small and compact but powerful.

Use this light daily as a police officer. This is an amazingly bright light for such a small light. It is brighter than my large mag light d cell rechargeable. It is super compact and takes up very little room on my belt and is small enough to fit in your pocket without being noticed for plain clothes operations. As a night shift officer I use it constantly all night and on the high setting lasts well over a week. Would recommend this to any professional who needs a good quality light that stands up to abuse.
