Awesome little ultralight jerkbait.

2 stars for the presentation, looks great in hand but the swim on the retrieve is terrible. It actually swims in circles in a straight retrieve. Can cause a lot of line twist. The jerk bait action is there but not the best. I don’t think it was worth the money.

I had high hopes for this jerkbait after seeing it used on a YouTube video; however, my experience was not a positive one. Its possible I may have gotten a defective lure but I don't think so. First off, quality control is lacking. The hook eyelets were bent to the point the hooks wouldn't move freely. I had to straighten them with needlenose pliers. That should have been a clue but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I tried fishing with the lure today and it was garbage. It claims to be slow sinking; it doesn't sink at all, it floats. Normally not an issue but not this time. It would not dive at all. Give it a jerk to get it to submerge, it skimmed off the top of the water. Try to use it as a crankbait, same thing. I'm hoping this was an anomaly whereas a defective product got by QC. The only pro I can mention was the color scheme; it was vibrant, and an accurate presentation for a Firetiger scheme. Like I said: I hope this was a defective lure that got past QC, but I'm not willing to throw good money after bad to test my theory. Stick with Rapala, Salmo, Dynamic Lures or Lucky Craft jerkbaits. Hard to believe Kevin Van Dam endorses this junk.

Good looking lure. Posted picture for a size comparison but I haven’t used it yet.
