Yes, it could be called "oversized" but it holds the biggest size of shampoo and soap we buy from the "big-box store" with no trouble at all. The plastic "collar" that goes around the shower pipe protects the chrome metalWell made, easy to assemble and I like the black finish more than the regular chrome types that tend to rust after a while. I think it's a good value and would expect at least a couple years use.

The shower caddy is just what I expected. It was easy to assemble and I think it will work well for us. I can't attest to durability because I haven't hung it yet. Still waiting on the plumber to change put the shower kit. I don't like those 4 steel colored screws and think those should have matched the oil rubbed bronze plus I wonder if they will rust even though the caddy should not. Only time will tell. That's why I couldn't give it 5 stars.

When it arrived and I saw it was unassembled, I grumbled and set the box aside for a week, ignoring it because it seemed like a hassle. Today I found the motivation and sat down to assemble it. I timed myself. I'm of average capability on the Ikea Scale and managed to put this thing together in 4 minutes. 😄 I hate myself for procrastinating. Super easy. What took me another 5 minutes was realizing that assembled, this rack would not fit over my shower head. I have one of those large rainshower types. But luckily it is just as easy to unassemble. Really, I only had to losen one screw and slide the top shelf over a bit so it could clear my shower head and tighten it up again, just this time awkwardly standing on a step stool. I feel like it not being shipped assembled (or without the ability to be disassembled and with an included allen wrench) saved the day, or at least me needing to remove the shower head. And I really love how it looks, sturdy and not cheap, and I like the special level for holding bars of soap. I'm happy.

I can finally stop cursing every time I take a shower and the bottles and soap are going in 3 different directions due to my spindly shower caddy. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.I have to agree with other reviewers. This was worth a few dollars more. It is sturdier, has room for all the products I need, and the extra hanging loops are also handy.It looks good and works well.
