I consider myself pretty handy and generally like to do things myself. However, appliances aren't one of those things I'm fast to jump into, and would be more likely to just call a pro to do it for me. I've been dealing with my washing machine being unable to start with a large load cycle and finish. If we started the load on "regular" for the cycle size, it would be fine, but anything larger than "regula" would get stuck and would actually go for hours.Since for a long time we were fine just running it on "regular", we kicked this repair for a while. I finally decided to take a stab at it, and after some research, realized that the problem was the timer. Looking for an OEM part, the cost was around $167 on appliance parts web sites. Kind of a lot for a little piece of plastic. I found this on Amazon for $70, brand new, which is less than half of $167.I purchased it, and waited for the weekend. The whoel repair took about 45 minutes, but that's only because it was my first time doing this repair and I had to watch certain parts on a youtube DIY video a few times to see the exact location of how to unclip the wire harness, unclip the timer from the control panel, etc. If I had to do this repair again, I could probably do it in 15-20 minutes. I give this repair a 3/10 on the difficultly scale. And I give the product 5/5 starts for arriving fast, and having a great price. It's nice to know I fixed my washing machine for only $70 (the price of the replacement timer) instead of what would probably have been $300 if I had to hire someone.

easy to install, works perfectly, gave new life to my 14 year old Kenmore washer at a cost of $100 less than other sources.

Fixed my washing machine problem. Its was a perfect fit plug and play device. Easy to install, reasonably priced, quick shipping, and I have clean laundry again.
