The item looks good, but the size is way too small.Size guide says S = 33.5 to 36 inches.Size of the item is 28inches.I am 36...Do not buy

I used it for whitewater kayaking. The top worked great - no chafing under arms, no constriction, sheds water very well. Feels very light, no impediment to paddling (paddled two days, five hour runs). When I rolled over, hardly any water entered. No cold trickles running down my back, yay! The front zipper stayed in place (there's a little Velcro cover on the top). The seams are all flat.The water temperature during the trip was 62F, the air was in mid to high seventies. I felt just right in the morning, and a bit too warm in the afternoon, especially when in direct sunlight (the material heats up quickly). Feels like it should be fine with water temperature of 50F and above. I wore if over a rash guard. If worn over a tight-fitting fleece, it should allow paddling even below that.Putting it on and taking it off is very easy, wet or dry. After the trip, it dried very fast.The sizing runs about two sizes small. My chest is 44 inches, my height is 5'8", my arms are longer than average, and XXL size fits me just fine (a bit narrow in the shoulders). The material is very stretchy - when I undo the front zipper, the front opens up by about 8".Elbow guards are very hard to get on top of the sleeves, as the laminated "seal skin" does not slide at all. But after you got them on, they stay in place, so that's a plus.Overall, easily the best ultra-light top I've owned.
