I used every component of this kit minus the ball joints, and it has all held up great so far. I have a noticeable increase in ride quality and I personally love the way the red bushings look. Everything installed the way it was supposed to, except one hangup I had replacing the tie rods which I can blame more on the tool. Just be weary if you’re using a 29mm crowsfoot for the job, make sure it’s a slimmer tool, mine was a little too wide to tighten the inner rod all the way.

Everything in the kit worked great. I read some of the other reviews before purchasing this and many people commented on the difficulty of getting the control arms pushed down far enough to get the lower balljoint stud inserted into the control arm and to line up the bolts for the steering knuckle because of the big polyurethane bushing. My solution on the passenger side was to use the scissor jack from my CRV between the control arm and the frame of the car to push down the control arm. When I got to the driver's side the scissor jack wouldn't fit, (transmission is in the way), so I grabbed the bottle jack from my 4runner which did fit and used that to push down the control arm.

This is a complete kit. You have to decide if you need enough of the parts to make it worthwhile to pay for the whole kit instead of just ordering what you need. I used everything except the tie rods and outer tie rod ends because mine are still OK and those parts can be replaced later without taking the whole corner apart. The forward lower bushings are solid, and not very flexible. I hope that in time the extra difficulty that caused will pay off by not ever having to do this job again. Kind of hard to predict that. The difficult part is trying to force the control arm down far enough to get the ball joint stud into the hole in the control arm while also not destroying the half shaft that also has to go back into the hub at the same time. I ended up extending the half shaft too far and I had to remove it completely, take off the inner boot and put the inner CV joint back together properly. I don't have a spring compressor for the strut, but if I did, that would have made the whole job a lot easier by just raising the strut and knuckle enough to put the ball joint stud in the control arm. I am a DIY guy working in my driveway and the only special tool I had was a ball joint press I borrowed but I got it done.

Red Polyurethane bushings for the control arms, this will last forever!This company suspension dudes is going to be my main company to use. If they have suspension parts for my cars I'm going to buy it from them.It is like these guys put a kit together and they pick the best quality parts as if they were installing them to they own cars.There are many other suspension kit you can buy, but you feel some of the pieces are not the best parts but since it was a kit, it seems like a deal.I received Quality parts, and if they have the options to use polyurethane bushings... Major Plus!

My 2006 CRV with 190,000 miles started making a weird clunk sound going over bumps while in a turn. I figured it was either a ball joint, control arm bushing, or maybe a CV joint. I figured it was time for a full suspension rebuild so I bought this kit along with two CV/half-axles. The failed part ended up being the front control arm bushing. You probably don't need all the parts. My inner tie-rods were fine, so I ended up not installing these, just the outer tie-rod ends. The sway bar end links were shot but the sway bar bushings were fine, didn't need to be changed. I used everything else. *** Installation - The new control arms come with a polyurethane bushing while the OEM was rubber. It will probably last forever, but makes it MUCH MUCH more difficult to complete the install. Once you get it installed flexing the control arm down to get the steering knuckle back on was a bear. I tried multiple techniques and ultimately needed a crow-bar and help from the wife to press the control arm down enough to get the ball joint in. Side note - I changed the left CV/Axle assembly but the one I pulled out was just fine so I left the other right one. Watching various YouTube videos I am glad I live in the desert. I have virtually zero rust and everything came apart easily. EDIT - also, the castellated nuts it come with are terrible. Reuse the original ones if you can.
