Bought for my son for our trip. He’s 7 and the adjustable straps were able to adjust to his side. He’s a nervous swimmer, so this was a great tool to help him remain calm and confident while we were in the pool. He has some sensory issues, and this float didn’t bug him one bit. He was able to put it on and off on his own. What makes this float better compared to the other options out there is the ability to take layers of the foam out as your child progresses in swimming. This float also doesn’t restrict the arms, and keeps the child in the right position to swim properly unlike water wings and puddle jumpers. Mind you this is a swimming tool, and children need to have constant supervision regardless what type of swimming apparatus they are using. I highly recommend this product when used appropriately.

Absolutely love this item! Bought for my daughter for our trip. Shes 5 and can almost swim on her own, but we were worried about her drifting into the deep ends. She loved wearing the float, it was very comfortable for her. I think it’s so amazing how you can take portions of the foam out to help the swimmer start to swim on their own. Within a week we were able to take half out. My daughter was so proud of herself. One really nice thing about this product is how it’s worn. It doesn’t restrict their arms, and puts them in the proper swim position unlike water wings and puddle jumpers. Just remember this is a swimming tool, and children must be supervised at all times while in and around water, regardless the type of swim apparatus they have on. I highly recommend this one for how versatile it is!

Swim instructor approved. This little vest is amazing. It keeps my kids arms free to practice swim strokes and also allows her to get her face down in the water while she swims. While the floatie vests with arms can make it harder for kids to learn how to swim bc it keeps them vertical in the water, this vest allows them to transition easily from floating to swimming.Love that the bouyancy is adjustable as well as she gets older. Child is currently 3 but we started her in this at age 2.

This is excellent for a 3 year old learning to swim. It doesn’t hinder their arms, like other buoyancy aids do, and it’s not bulky. I thus allowing them a to front crawl or play normally unhindered. You can also remove some of the foam sheets, front and back, so that they get use to supporting them self but by bit over time, rather than all at once. I understand everyone learns differently but my son loved this, and it did wonders for his confidence in the water. Very good quality!

Keeps kids floating in the water. Removable pads thinner then expected but product still does as described. Good for kids aged 3+
