I've owned all softs of water pitchers. But these are simply the best pitchers out there. It's all about the small details.1. The bottle can withstand hot water. I drop in a large tea bag (for a gallon) with 3 cups of hot water and let it sit for 10 minutes. I top it off with more room temperature water and toss it in the fridge. It's done.2. The lid is sealed tight. If you close it, you are not going to have to worry about it leaking.3. Very light weight but durable.4. The lid has a slight click so you can pour it5. There's a little spout so the pour can be controlled6. The bottle isn't round so it can go into small fridgeThen there's the smart part of how this can be kept clean.1. The top is two parts. There are no 'hidden' or 'hard to reach' corners that. requires special brushes. All the corners can be reached easily and cleaned.2. There are two gaskets. And they can be removed with no effort. Most of the ones with gaskets are impossible to dig out and mold just grows between them. It's disgusting. But Takeya thought about these and both gaskets can be taken out with no effort so you can keep them clean.And lastly, if you look inside the top lid, there's a notch. These can be converted into a cold brew by simply buying their cold brew infuser filter.Don't think. Just buy one and thank me later.Recipe:1. Put a iced tea bag into the Takya jug2. Pour 3 cups of boiled filtered water and wait 10 minutes3. Top off with more filtered water and put into the fridge overnight4. Take out the tea bag4a. For unsweetened tea, and top it off with more filtered water before serving4b. For sweet tea, dissolve 1/2 cup of sugar (more or less to your liking) with a cup of filtered water. Pour into the tea mixture and top off filtered water. I like to add a touch of vanilla.Enjoy iced tea year around.

First of all it's so easy to clean, my hand fits in there. The silicone rings is easy to put back in but a little trickier to get it out to wash so it's best if you don't make it dirty so there's less reasons to clean it often. Second, it's definitely leak proof. I placed it on its side and no leak. 1.8L is great for my family. Third, it's quality plastic, it won't break the same way glass pitchers does. I'm looking forward to making cold brew and cold tea with this. The only downside is probably the price, I'm used to buying cheap pitchers but I think it's still worth buying this considering that it is better quality and will last for a long time.

I bought these because they looked like a great space saver and that they could hold a lot of liquid and both is true. I bought two jugs first of another brand, and then bought these. Both brands are good, and both are awesome because they can fit in the body of my fridge or in the side panels. They hold a lot, are sturdy and leak proof if it's closed properly. I prefer these to the other set that I bought of another brand. If you like to make punch or juice or ... anything of that sort they are great. Also the extra rubber over the handle is great for a good grip and pour.

Quizás el costo puede parecer elevado, pero esta jarra lo vale. Una vez que la cierras no se sale ni una gota. La forma que tiene hace que quepa perfecto en la puerta de mi refrigerador, y mantiene el agua fría un buen rato cuando está afuera.

Bonitas, útiles, sellan perfecto. Tal vez un poco altas para los entrepaños del refri, pero con las correderas que tienen los refris es suficiente

Buen tamaño, aunque apenas cabe en el refri. Lo único que no me gusta mucho es que al servir hay que estar cuidando que no se riegue.

Es práctica y sobre todo que la tapa sella muy bien. Recomendación: lavarla únicamente con esponja

Súper buen producto es hermética, no es pesada y le cabe bastante agua de hecho ya es la segunda que compro porque quede muy contenta con el producto

Muy buena jarra, de buen tamaño (unos 30cm de largo, ojo) pero con un diseño ovalado que le permite adaptarse a las repisas o recodos de un refrigerador pequeño.El mecanismo de sellado no es perfecto (casi lo es, la verda) pero es totalmente funcional para los usos para los que está destinada esta jarra (no la vayas a meter a tu mochila y pretendas que no se le caiga una gotita. Pero perfectamente puedes cerrarla y agitarla sin problemas (muy útil para revolver los ingredientes de un agua fresca o el polvito si te dio flojera prepararla como Dios manda).El color azul que pedí es bastante más obscuro al que aparece en la fotografía pero no me molesta. Buen producto.

I bought this pitcher a couple years ago in green with a long infuser piece, and have been using it to cold-brew large batches of cold tea with great success. So when I needed a pitcher to cold-brew coffee I turned to this brand again and I haven't been disappointed. The size is just right to make about a week's worth of coffee concentrate for one. The lid fits well and I like how easy it is to take all three pieces apart so that the area around the lid at the neck gets clean. There are no lingering smells and the plastic doesn't stain, so I can easily rinse it out and use it for another beverage. I have a basic refrigerator that you typically see in apartments, so I like that it is slim. It is too tall for all my shelves except the bottom one, where it goes in but scrapes the top of the shelf above it. I recently found that if I move the milk to that shelf I can easily fit two of these in the top door pocket where I used to put the milk. I think the claim that if you turn it sideways it wont leak is only true if you tighten the lid to the point where it almost strips, if at all. However, I would like to say that I have knocked it over on the counter with the lid closed normally and it didn't spill out before I could set it upright, so that is good enough for me.
