タミヤ製だけあってキットの完成度は流石です。接着剤は必要です。パーツの嚙み合わせは良いので普通に作るだけなら細かい改修なしで完成します。内部の構造がいわゆる「お風呂」状態(座席部分が四角い一体型パーツ構造)なので、ドアの開閉改造をしたい場合は超音波カッターやヒートナイフなどプラを切り取りやすい工具でやらないと普通のデザインナイフなどではガタガタになってしまいます。また、ドアと内部座席との間に隙間ができてしまうのでプラ板やパテなどで隙間をうめる改造をする必要が出てきます。YouTubeなどでこの改造の仕方を説明しているモデラーさんがいるので初めての方は参考にしたほうが良いと思います。この改造だけは難易度が格段に上がるので自信のある方だけやってください。普通に作る分には初心者でも問題なく完成できると思います。

本当はSS-Ⅰが欲しかったのですが、価格が高すぎ代用としてGT-FOURを（量販店よりも若干安く）購入。ガンプラ慣れしていたため接着剤が必要な点は盲点でしたが、ガンプラマーカーなどを駆使して部分塗装し無事に完成しました。精密な造形で、仕上がりは素晴らしく、とても満足しております。

Great kit, but if you're looking for aftermarket support you'll be hard pressed to find anything. If you want to customize this build I'd recommend learning how to 3D print, or scratch build your parts as I did. Other than that it's a great and easy kit to assemble. This is my fourth kit to date with this particular one being the most detailed and custom built.

I would say that the only reason that there are flaws is because of my own doing. They car originally came in all black but I used some of my actual Celicas paint to make an identical model. Even for a beginner, it was easy to put together. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Awesome model and very pleased with the results!
