I got this for a ten-year-old who eagerly unwrapped the journal and started using it right away. She wasn't as excited about the other items, but the journal was a big hit. Even though she had others, she wanted to use this to write and draw in.

This is a scrapbook set. The pages are thick and can be decorated however you like. The book is a good size. The glue pen is mess free and it's easy to use. The pens' colors are bright. They don't space out and stop writing between words or pictures. You don't have to retrace or go back to redo what you were writing. It's a nice starter kit that came with a bunch of things to get you started. The pages turn on the notebook spiral easy.

My daughter loved this so much! She finally has her own journal she can put her thoughts in. Her favorite part is she can design it as she goes as well. The notebook is very sturdy that's personally my favorite on top of how gorgeous and bright the colors are. Perfect price for all that comes in it.

The quality is not great, but you get a lot of stuff, so it's a balance. There's even a hair clip, which is kind of random, but also fun. The cover of the journal is pretty thin (like cardstock), so it's not going to hold up to hard use, but for a fun little colorful journal "toy" it's great. I put it in an Easter basket, and it was a big hit! There's washi tape and other fun supplies that make it cute. The price is fair for what you get!
