I bought 4. Wired 2 according to diagram, didn't work. Wired others according to suggestions in the reviews, didn't work either. Save your time and money, don't buy this junk.

La photo-relais ne fonctionne tout simple pas, donc inutile et on doit payer pour le retour. grosse perte de temps et d'argents.

Black= NegativeWhite= PositiveRed= Negative to your deviceI included a photo… there was a couple reviews that helped with wiring! Basically that red goes to your negative on the device you are powering on. I attempted to test it before installing but for some reason it wasn’t working properly so I committed and installed it. It took about 10-15 minutes before the light turned off…the sensor works amazing! I am using it for my street numbers and I have it mounted next to my door bell transformer at the end of the garage. I’m able to turn on my interior lights and the sensor keeps on my street lights.

This photocell has many bad reviews because the wiring diagram is confusing. Wire it as noted below and you will find it works perfectly.White wire to plus (+) voltage supply.Black wire to negative (-) voltage supply.Red wire to the light (or other device). (NOTE: your light or device may be polarity dependent: this wire is NEGATIVE which is confusing because with DC voltage a negative wire should be black).The other wire from the light or device goes to plus (+) voltage supply.You will need to put a narrow 3/8" or 10mm stainless washer under the outer mounting nut. Without it the rubber gasket grabs the nut and you cannot get it tight enough.If you wire this in series with a contact switch for a door opening the photocell needs to go after the switch. This will allow it to work only at night without drawing voltage during the day if the door is left open.
