I started off getting a Tapo doorbell, and that led to me wanting to expand the system so I got three of these too. I put one in my garage, outside aimed at my driveway, and in my back yard. The quality and features are great. The night vision, motion detection, etc. are all fantastic. There are different ways they can be mounted. You can use the included adhesive pad and stick it on, it's magnetized so you can just stick it onto a metal surface, or you can attach the included metal pad wherever you want and stick the camera on that. You can also mount the camera upside down and invert the image in the app. These are a fantastic deal for the price. The only hard thing is finding a way to run the USB power cord. My house had a couple old access points from previous cable installations and things that I used. I also got USB extension cables to lengthen the cords when necessary. I'm really happy with the setup!

Amazing security camera with so many features! The motion detection is on point, I like that it can detect different objects like person, pet, car, etc. What I love the most is how clear it is at night time!! I was able to set it up very easy. I was a little worried about having the camera upside down by my window and not being able to view the picture right side up but I can! There’s an option to invert image. I love this camera, I’m so happy that I bought it.

Wow the cameras and the app are great. I had Yi cameras and I’m replacing all seven of those with Tapo cameras. The Tapo app has no Ads. The clarity of the camera is excellent. I’m glad Yi cameras and apps forced me away from them with Ads and now I’ve discovered Tapo. These are great little cameras, so many options for detecting and sound detection. The cameras don’t miss anything. They don’t bombard you with ads and force you to join their cloud.

I love how easy these were to setup (I bought two to cover different areas of the home). It's a small price to pay to have a good way to check in on my dog at home and have peace of mind while away. Super affordable and reliable. Image shows up very bright even in a dark room. The only concerning thing is they get very hot. I don't know how I'd feel if I had to leave them on all day long every day.

Do I need 2K resolution? Do I like some of the features' dependence on the internet? Do I love the Tapo app? No to all of these questions. But the overall functionality of this camera is simply amazing for the price. I have bought four. You can even set it up with an NVR, and recently they added the ability to record to memory on one kind of Tapo sub-1GHz wireless hub. Unbelievable value.
