I needed a new sugar bowl because I've been dealing with one that doesn't have a slot of the sugar spoon for years and I just finally got fed up. I bought two of these and use the other one for my red pepper flakes :-). I like the fact it has an open slot for a spoon but really, it isn't made for YOUR spoon, but theirs. It still fits but a bit less. I wish the lid wasn't quite so high domed but otherwise it is what I wanted and works great!

The quality is impressive it’s got a nice weight to it not thin and cheap. I was concerned about smudges but I’ve not had any problems I’m very happy with this purchase

I can keep my spoon in here and it's so pretty I don't mind leaving it on the table. I don't use the spoon that came with it I use my own spoon. I like the fact that the spoon can stay inside the container.
