I gather that these are handmade (like, not made purely by machine I mean), so there's going to be variations from one bowl to the next, but these bowls are kind of just too far out of tolerance for me to excuse.One bowl has two nubs of ceramic that must have bubbled up in the firing process and didn't get glazed properly, so doesn't have a smooth floor in the bowl. If it was on the size or on the bottom, whatever, but this is the part we're meant to eat off of, so I'm rather upset about this one.The other bowl just isn't dished out uniformly, like they didn't do a full 360 when shaping the bowl, so it has a bump on the eating surface. Not as bad as the other bowl's problem since I can treat this as an "artful, artisan variation," but with the context of the other one being messed up, this one feels like it's also carelessly made.Those things aside, I actually like the design a lot. The pictures on Amazon don't really do it justice for how artsy these bowls look. The pictures make it look like they're dirty bowls but in real life they're just pretty and elegant. Sort of reminds me of a burst of tiny flower petals, or raindrops moving across a glass surface.I think if they can take more care in getting more uniformity in their crafting process, they'd be looking at a 5-star product.

These bowls are beautiful! They are large enough for a good size portion of pho, ramen or any other one dish meal! I even use them as serving dishes. They are very elegant looking. I am so happy I ordered them. I believe each order the color variation will be slightly different so be prepared for that. These bowls are not shallow. They are prettier and deeper than they appear in my attached photo. I am thinking about purchasing a second set to use as a gift, unfortunately when they come, I do believe it will be really hard to give the second set away. You can’t go wrong with these, they are beautiful.

I am so happy with these unique ramen bowls. They are exactly as pictured in the Amazon listing and the glaze is so exquisitely beautiful. They are very well made, and being dishwasher and microwave safe is always a plus. These bowls are definitely a conversation starter if you want to show off any soup or noodle dish to guest.I am very happy I ordered them!

These bowls are beautiful. Exactly what I was looking for! They are large enough for ramen, which is what I really wanted. But as a major bonus, they are so pretty. The glaze is gorgeous. I took a wheel throwing pottery class, with the intent of making my own ramen bowls. I failed miserably lol, but this is what I would've made if I could have! I wasn't sure exactly what I was getting from the description, but it is a set of 2 bowls.
