I was looking all over without much luck for a low planter to use on my kitchen table. This ceramic bowl is perfect. It is really beautiful high-quality ceramic bowl. It was delivered overnight in exceptional packaging, which was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend. I'm going to buy another one to give as a gift.

The size is deceptive. I had a dinner party for 8 and used the bowl to serve the starter salad. It was perfectly sized and given the material of the bowl, it kept the salad icy cold until the last morsel was finished! Was a perfect offset piece for my serving china!

I had this in my cart for a while because I was unsure if I wanted it. I knew it was ceramic but the picture reminded me of those old camping coffeepots (the enamel kind). It's not like that at all. Very heavy and pretty. I'm so glad that I ordered it. Just the right size for a nice salad (for 3-4 people for dinner salad, or for 2 people when the salad is the main meal). It will also be a decent size serving bowl in general. I love it.
