Very good, peel oranges first or skin oils can taint taste. Easy to clean

In simple, I was impressed by its build quality from the moment I did its unboxing. It feels as sturdy as Kitchen Aid mixer itself. It extracts most juice out of the fruit and vegetable, we pushed it to the limit by squeezing bunch of ginger and it did wonderful job, The residue came out easily. Though I had to open the end of nozzle to clean the dry residue since I was doing about 800 grams of ginger juice. It comes with a cleaning brush that also opens the blocked dry pulp exit end.It is not dishwasher safe, and hand washing is pretty easy for it since there are not many parts. The end that connects to the motor of the kitchen aid is made of sturdy metal, rest is good quality plastic.

I bought this to try drinking vegetable juice everyday. For $50, totally worth it. Makes quality cold press juice. After 4 months, I knew I want this to be part of my lifestyle, so I've upgrade to the $550 Nama J2 juicer. If you are new to juicing and have a KitchenAid, this is great to try juicing. I would expect it would only last about a year with daily use.Comparing KitchenAid to the Nama J2:Yield and juice quality: Both about the same, but Nama J2 might grind leafy greens a little betterTime: KitchenAid is slower and you have to add ingredients one at a time. Nama J2 is much faster, lets you load everything at once and walk away.Jamming: KitchenAid sometime jams near the end of a single juice. You have to be careful to cut some vegies and juice softer things first. When jammed, take the front off and push the block out (maybe +5 minutes of trouble shooting). Nama J2 keeps on working for 8-12 juices and doesn't require as much cutting.Cleaning: KitchenAid screen is hard to clean and the rubber tube to channel juice gets stained green. The screen for the Nama J2 is easier to clean but has more parts.Froth: KitchenAid is better and makes less bubbles.Size: KitchenAid juicer is much smaller if you don't count the KitchenAid itselfIn general, this is a solid juicer for trying it out or occasional use. It will take 30-60 minutes out of your day, and more if you are juicing for a whole family or batch juicing for the week. It is worth investing in the Nama J2 if you know you'll use it often and for years. You'll save a ton of time, effort and it has a 15 year warranty. But if you aren't sure you want to invest in that, start with this. The KitchenAid juicer makes quality juice, just with more time and effort, as well as not lasting as long.
